A new Bankstown is emerging

This region is at the forefront of a revival, with impetus from the NSW Government’s plan to implement the Sydenham to Bankstown Urban Renewal Strategy well underway. This includes enhancing neighbourhoods, public spaces, town centres and providing more community services and facilities.

A new Sydney Metro train line is also in progress and will connect Bankstown to key employment centres – providing better ways for everyone to travel and improved accessibility.

This boost to the local economy has also seen the uncovering of plans for a brand new private hospital, improved civic spaces, as well as a Western Sydney University campus right in Bankstown’s CBD.
